Ryan first started training purely from a performance standpoint. He wanted to get faster and stronger to give himself an edge against his opponents. Eventually it got to the point where he was enjoying his training more than his sport and wanted to focus all of his efforts on improving his fitness.

Ryan trains more functionally which means the movements and the workouts he does translates well into everyday life as well as sport. Although Ryan loves Functional Training he also enjoys Olympic Weightlifting due to the technical nature of each of the movements as well as the mobility required to perform them safely and well.

Ryan’s ideal client would be someone who is open to learning new movements and new styles of training and focuses on longevity rather than quick fixes. Ryan’s aim is to provide his clients with the knowledge to continue their training effectively towards their goals, as well as being sustainable throughout their lives.
